Orange Avenue - Reset EP

Orange Avenue

When one hears Orange Avenue if your from Florida like me you think of a street you grew up on, good times in the summer, and falling in love for the first time. And Daytona Beach based Orange Avenue sum all of that up perfectly on their new ep called Reset. If you like Anberlin, You Me At Six, or The Killers, then you will want to hear these guys,

Reset is packed full of radio ready singles, Just Refrain, To Far Away, and No Goodbyes will all be stuck in your head for weeks when you hear this ep. From Derek Anderson's perfect vocals to Glen Sedita's synth's and percussion you'll know your in for a treat when the album's first single Just Refrain hits your ears. Flawless musicianship and songs that will have you jumping and singing live make this a standout record. Not to mention it will be one of soundtracks of the summer i'm sure.

It's rare that I will a enjoy a band trying to be a Alternative Rock band's sound but Orange Avenue has me beyond impressed. I've had Reset playing front to back non-stop since I purchased their record at their recent performance at Universal Studio's City Walk Stage. Which they are playing 2-3 times a month now from what i've been informed.

It's really hard to pick out one stand out track on this ep as the whole thing is great from star to finish.

I highly recommend this EP, there's not to much that be said about it other than 5/5 holy shit amazing. With less plays than most local bands from around here check them out before they get huge, I promise you won't be disappointed with Reset. Clocking in at 17 minutes it is a fast listen but for $5 you can't lose.

Check out Orange Avenue on myspace and pick up Reset on itunes or at a show
